MMSD: The Medical Modeling and Simulation Database
The Medical Modeling and Simulation Database (MMSD) is a searchable collection of research citations in the medical modeling and simulation domain. Currently, the collection of publications represents a filtered selection from PubMed.
The MMSD is intended to raise awareness of the magnitude and breadth of activity in this field and to encourage continued research and collaboration within the simulation community. The MMSD is updated in real time to provide the most current research articles and publications available.
DPP: The Digital Patient Project
The Digital Patient is conceptualized as patient-specific modeling to support medical decision-making. This definition has likewise evolved to encompass “a technical framework, that once fully developed, will make it possible to create a computer representation of the health status of each citizen that is descriptive, interpretive, integrative and predictive” (Roadmap for the Digital Patient, 2013). The realization of the Digital Patient concept will be a definitive step towards fully personalized medicine.
